About

PORTLAND-(Portland)

1. A city that exists (metaphysics) in the state of Oregon deep in the North West, also known as bear country.
Nicknames include
: The City of Roses, Stumptown, Bridgetown, RIP City, Little Beirut (Formerly known as Midget Beirut), Beer-vana/town, P-Town, and PDX.
Other (not as popular) nicknames include
: The Better Seattle, Yeast-town, and The Cheaper Europe.

Bridge.Town.Low.Down. (B.T.L.D.) was erected for the soul purpose of exposing Portland’s music scene (yes, I can be more general and cliché). My goal in writing these entries is to shine a spotlight on not only local musicians, but also to unveil P-Town’s music industry representatives (managers, record labels, and legitimate groupies).

In addition to the line-up of people that will be targeted, I want to excavate Stumptown’s scene by interviewing these musical entrepreneurs. My hope is to find out more about how the culture of the City of Roses mirrors itself through residents’ music.

You may not be aware of it, but both you and I (buddy) are in search for a story and connections…rich and bountiful buffets of intimacy and being real are about to be dished out to you, Mexican restaurant style (don’t touch! plate hot). That is what I have to offer you.

Look at my musclesCrack open a warm PBR and enjoy!
