Q&A with Jov NOVOSTI Luke OF NOVOSTI

Do you like super special treats? Because that is what you are in store for in this installment of B.T.L.D.’s Q&A.

This is Jov NOVOSTI Luke (Facebook)

FRAMES

This is a video for Jov’s solo project, NOVOSTI (myspace)

The music video for Junebug was directed by Alexander Jorgensen (check out his Vimeo!)

Novosti is a unique and rare music entity, in that it exemplifies incorruptible lyrics and meaning. The music pierces you with truth and connectivity, creating a mental time machine of love and nostalgia. The songs grasp your core, making Novosti’s music something more than intangible.

I’ve divided the recorded interview into the four questions that I asked Mr. Jov. Included are samples from Novosti’s EP, THIS MOMENT.

WHAT’S THE STORY? (MORNING GLORY)

TALK TO ME ABOUT THE CREATIVE PROCESS BEHIND YOUR EP, THIS MOMENT?

WHY PORTLAND?

DESCRIBE TO ME PRESENT DAY NOVOSTI AND THE FUTURE?

As you’ve heard, Jov, on top of being a great songwriter, is also an avid photographer.  You can find some of his works HERE. Jov has a passion for connecting the emotions and the flow of music with the aesthetics of photography. He has a talent for making the two arts coexist harmoniously. Jov’s vision is to, “haze the boarder between music & photography in a new way.” I encourage all who are interested to follow his work!

Purchase Novosti’s EP, entitled  THIS MOMENT, at Amazon, iTunes, and CD Baby. The EP is low cost, but very beneficial. I recommend you purchase and support!

Thanks for the interview Jov and good luck with NOVOSTI!
